Through innovative professional development, ongoing support, and a commitment to fostering inclusive classrooms, Transforming Teachers of Tomorrow aims to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to shape the leaders, thinkers, and change-makers of tomorrow.

  • Increasing a school performance score to the 9th highest performing open enrollment school in the city.

  • Successfully implemented Trauma-Informed Practices, resulting in a significant reduction in suspension rates and a notable increase in student attendance. 


  • Created and implemented restorative approaches including: Wellness center, skills center, and growth mindsets.

  • Ranking #10 in the city for basic plus performance for economically disadvantaged students.

Our Team

Sherise Gassery has been an educator for over 15 years in New Orleans public schools.  She served as an elementary school teacher, instructional coach, academic dean and middle school assistant principal. She enjoys spending time with love ones, dancing and watching cheesy RomComs. 

Dr. Nicole Boykins is a New Orleans native and a proud product of New Orleans public schools. She has been ad educator for over 15 years. She has served as a first grade teacher, instructional coach, elementary and middle school principal. Dr. Boykins enjoys reading, traveling and sampling exotic foods.
